This is an opportunity for teachers in Y2 or Y6 to take part in a twilight session to prepare them for in-school moderation and for statutory LA moderation by exploring effective evidence bases and professional dialogue.
During the training, delegates will be taken through key aspects of the criteria in the teacher assessment frameworks. They will build up confidence to explain why an evidence base meets or does not meet the criteria, to describe how to improve the evidence base responsibly and to practise this using their own evidence bases.
It is intended to inform teachers new to the year group or who require a refresher on the process. NQTs or teachers new to statutory assessment may find the sessions particularly worthwhile.
