ASD Classroom Strategies

Outline

An introduction to supportive strategies and the National Autistic Society SPELL framework.

Description

The course will help develop the participants knowledge on how to support children and young people on the Autism Spectrum or with a Social communication difficulty using the SPELL and other structured visual supports.

Outcomes

Participants will learn practical strategies to support individuals on the Autism Spectrum within the school environment and the wider community.

Schools with an EPSS contract or subscription receive a £10 discount.

Cancellation Policy:

For cancellations made by the school/establishment more than 14 working days prior to the course date, no charge will be made. A £20 administration fee will be levied per person for cancellations between 14 days and 7 days. The whole fee will be charged for cancellations made within 7 working days of the course date. Alternatively, you can arrange for a colleague to take your place.

Audience

This training is aimed at all school staff working with the children in EYFS, key stage 1 and 2.
