An independent service for the administration of school admission appeals and exclusion reviews

When a parent is informed that their child has not been offered a place at their preferred school, or that their child has been permanently excluded, they have a right to appeal.
The School Admission Appeals Code 2012 and the 2012 Statutory Guidance on exclusion of pupils require that an independent appeal panel must be arranged to hear admission appeals and exclusion reviews, and they seek to ensure that appeal hearings are conducted in a fair and transparent way.
Norfolk County Council can provide you with full support for these processes.
